Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Baeddan MacAuliffe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Blitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacAuliffe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Notorious by Duran Duran. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Baeddan MacAuliffe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Blitz! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacAuliffe misses with a series of wild punches.
MacAuliffe gets tackled into the cage by Blitz. Blitz maintains the clinch. Blitz taking a breather. Blitz manages to break the clinch.
Blitz shoots in but MacAuliffe avoids the takedown attempt easily. MacAuliffe is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Blitz. MacAuliffe lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MacAuliffe works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. MacAuliffe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! MacAuliffe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blitz keeps working. Blitz blocking the ground and pound attempt from MacAuliffe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blitz is looking for a sweep. MacAuliffe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. MacAuliffe throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. MacAuliffe works his way into full mount! Blitz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MacAuliffe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Blitz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Blitz tries to improve his position but instead MacAuliffe has taken his back! MacAuliffe keeps control of the position as Blitz tries to break free.
Blitz preventing the rear naked choke attempt from MacAuliffe. Blitz is trying to get back to his feet but MacAuliffe has full control of the position and if anything, Blitz has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacAuliffe is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Blitz defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. MacAuliffe is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Blitz. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. MacAuliffe is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Blitz with him. Blitz is trying to defend but MacAuliffe has an arm under the chin now! Blitz grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Baeddan MacAuliffe! Baeddan MacAuliffe decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. The defeated John Blitz had this to say: 'Have to train my wrestling'.
