Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colt Nova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miko Ians (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miko Ians is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ians keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Horrible takedown by Nova or perhaps it was just good defense by Ians which made him look bad.
Ians closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nova takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ians cracks a nice hook into Nova's ribs.

and Ians counters by moving into the clinch.
Nova is looking to control Ians's arms but Ians gets an underhook and turns him. Now Nova has his back to the cage.

Ians shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ians was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Miko Ians showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nova tries to hold on but Ians postures up.
Nova is bucking up trying to escape but Ians cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Ians is landing with some decent strikes but Nova is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Nova wants to control but Ians is having none of it.
Nova is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ians is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Ians won't let Nova get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ians is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nova is surviving well by controlling Ians's body position as best he can.
Nova wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Ians.

Nova holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Ians tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Nova is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Ians has taken his back!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ians working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Miko Ians comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ians has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
