Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Eliza Hachem and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kong swats away the attempt to clinch by Rivera.
Kong was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Rivera shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kong napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ground and pound from Rivera seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Rivera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kong tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Rivera is landing with some decent strikes but Kong is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rivera postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kong in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kong to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
