Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frederick White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ismal Rodfers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ismal Rodfers will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ismal Rodfers!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodfers throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and White moves into the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on White - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rodfers has hold of one of White's legs. White is fighting the takedown attempt but Rodfers gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
White has his feet on Rodfers's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Rodfers throws a leg kick that is checked
and White counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by White.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rodfers wants to sweep here but White controlling him for the moment.
White content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Rodfers is trying to control the position but White postures up.
White wanted to stand there but Rodfers had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rodfers's head.

White decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rodfers, up you get!
Rodfers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in White's half guard.
White is looking for a sweep. Rodfers is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rodfers seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but White does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
White has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

White moves into range and clinches up with Rodfers.

Rodfers clinches up with White and pushes him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rodfers closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rodfers lands in his opponent's guard.

White pulls Rodfers in to control the position.

White slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Rodfers stands up out of the half guard.
White tries to close the distance and clinch but Rodfers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

White misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rodfers.
White is trying to push Rodfers away but Rodfers has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Rodfers trying to control the position but instead, White has worked for underhooks and has pushed Rodfers into the cage.
White goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rodfers prevents it.
White is looking to control Rodfers's arms but Rodfers gets an underhook and turns him. Now White has his back to the cage.
Rodfers jumps into guard, dragging White to the mat.
White prevents Rodfers from getting back to his feet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rodfers is on top in guard.
Rodfers won't allow White to get back to his feet.
White is adopting a defensive guard.
Rodfers tries to stand but White is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Frederick White will probably get the nod.
That's time! White's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rodfers lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
White fails with the takedown.
Rodfers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in White's guard.
White pushes Rodfers off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodfers throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
Rodfers forces White back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rodfers has White pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rodfers pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending White tumbling to the mat - Rodfers dives into White's guard.
White pushes Rodfers off and gets back to his feet.

White shoots in for a takedown but Rodfers shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rodfers is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
White tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
White closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rodfers to the mat! Rodfers manages to get full guard.
White lands a couple of digs.
Rodfers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rodfers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
White might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Rodfers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. White defends it easily.
Rodfers is breathing heavily.
Rodfers controls White momentarily but White frees himself.
White chips away with some ground and pound.
Frederick White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

White could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rodfers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
White tries to counter by clinching up but Rodfers breaks away and moves out of range.
Rodfers throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. White was covering up waiting for the punch and Rodfers finishes the takedown easily into guard.
White is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
