Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rowan Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rowan Lane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Filipovic! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lane scores with a nice body kick.
Filipovic fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lane closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lane lands in his opponent's guard.
Lane decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Filipovic, up you get! Filipovic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Filipovic throws a nice looking combination but Lane bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lane blocks a leg kick. Lane trying to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Filipovic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Filipovic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Filipovic stands and steps away. Lane gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Filipovic is looking to clinch. Filipovic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Filipovic throws a front kick aimed at Lane's knee but Lane avoids it well. Lane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Filipovic pinned against the cage. Filipovic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Filipovic clinches but Lane breaks the clinch
and Lane counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Filipovic wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lane has him pressed against the cage. Lane dodges an elbow strike from Filipovic.
Lane drops down looking for an ankle pick but Filipovic pulls his leg out and moves away.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Filipovic looks to land a combination but Lane avoids it well. Sean Filipovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Filipovic jabs at Lane's body.
Lane gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Filipovic wants to get back to striking at distance but Lane won't allow it.
Lane is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Filipovic is keeping busy. Filipovic crunches a lovely knee into Lane's ribcage. Filipovic looking to stall.

Lane gets a trip takedown into half guard. Lane stops Filipovic from getting back to his feet.
Lane is controlling the pace.
Filipovic pushes Lane off looking to stand but Lane dives back in and keeps control.
Lane seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Lane gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Horrible takedown by Lane or perhaps it was just good defense by Filipovic which made him look bad. Filipovic tries to grapple but his opponent circles The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. and Lane counters with a head kick. That will keep Filipovic thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Filipovic is rocked! Lane stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Filipovic. Filipovic tries to clinch up but Lane circles away and keeps his distance. Lane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lane lands a front kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lane shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lane was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Filipovic is trying to stand but he's just given Lane his back. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Rowan Lane dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Lane fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Filipovic sprawls well initially but Lane persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Lane uses his free foot to push down on Filipovic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Filipovic. A nice elbow there by Lane. Filipovic has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Filipovic trying to get back to his feet but Lane is in full control for now. Lane controlling from the back. Filipovic is trying to get back to his feet but Lane has full control of the position and if anything, Filipovic has just worked his way into a worse spot. Filipovic is breathing heavily. Lane slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Filipovic has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Lane lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Filipovic.

Lane has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Filipovic is defending well but eventually Lane manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Filipovic has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
