Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky McColgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McColgan has chosen The Gael as his entrance music. Joe Frazier could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rocky McColgan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
38 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Frazier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rocky McColgan! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McColgan lands a slapping body shot.
McColgan misses with a straight right. McColgan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Frazier wants to land a leg kick but McColgan is out of range. McColgan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Frazier checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Frazier uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McColgan has time to react. A slapping leg kick lands for McColgan.

Rocky McColgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frazier lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Frazier scores with a kick to the midsection. Frazier really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McColgan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McColgan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Frazier - the referee stops the clock and McColgan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Frazier. McColgan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Frazier lands with a good body shot. McColgan looks winded! Frazier listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Frazier connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Both fighters circling a little - Frazier finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A jab from Frazier does it's job there. McColgan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Frazier lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Frazier scores with the left hand. McColgan knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frazier cracks McColgan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Frazier has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McColgan to stand back up!
McColgan is rocked! Frazier is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. BAM! Frazier delivers a spinning backfist that drops McColgan like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Joe Frazier! Joe Frazier took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I am losing skills sooo fast man, so you must be bad dude!'.
