The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Homosapien misses with a takedown attempt - Maia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Maia drives through with a takedown into guard.
Homosapien wants to sweep but no luck.
Maia is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Homosapien has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Maia is looking to defend but Homosapien has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Maia! Homosapien pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Maia taps out and this one is all over!
