Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Pennington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and OleDirty Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Pennington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, OleDirty Warrior! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Warrior. Pennington is looking to reverse the position. Pennington is trying to buck Warrior off. Pennington sneaks out the side door and pushes Warrior away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Pennington could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Pennington misses with a takedown and Warrior counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Warrior. Pennington has Warrior pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Pennington pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Warrior tumbling to the mat - Pennington dives into Warrior's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Warrior had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pennington defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pennington not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Warrior is trying to control the position but Pennington postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pennington trying to control the position from guard on top but Warrior is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Warrior is controlling Pennington's posture. Warrior is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Warrior swinging wildly here.
Warrior closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warrior slowing the pace effectively. Warrior wants to break free but Pennington has control.
Pennington successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Pennington had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Warrior defends it easily. Warrior slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Warrior stands and steps away. Pennington gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Warrior closes the distance and pushes Pennington back into the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Warrior works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Pennington has his feet on Warrior's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Warrior throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pennington seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Warrior scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Warrior is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pennington has managed to free his arm - good work. Pennington works his way to full guard. Good work. Pennington is breathing heavily. Warrior got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pennington has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Warrior has managed to get both his arms back between Pennington's legs - danger averted. Pennington might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pennington looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That was a close round but I would say that Matt Pennington will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Warrior scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Pennington works his way to full guard. Good work. Warrior with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Warrior trying to control but Pennington is working from the bottom. Warrior trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Warrior wants to control from the top but Pennington keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Warrior stands and throws Pennington's legs to the side, diving into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pennington is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warrior decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pennington to his feet. Warrior fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pennington sprawls well initially but Warrior persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Warrior seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Pennington on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Warrior is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pennington has managed to free his arm - good work. Warrior is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pennington wants to get back to full guard. Warrior is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pennington is just riding it out for now. Warrior eventually gives up the hold. Pennington is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Warrior pulls his head out easily. Pennington actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Warrior lands a nice short elbow. Warrior is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Warrior postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pennington looks a forlorn figure.
Warrior lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Warrior content just to control the position here. Warrior is continuing to stall. Warrior has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

OleDirty Warrior showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action here. Warrior is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Pennington is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Warrior is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Warrior tries to hold on but Pennington postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Warrior is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Pennington is staying active.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Warrior bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Warrior passes Pennington's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Warrior perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Warrior looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. OleDirty Warrior has got the better of the ground game so far. Pennington tries to get to full guard but Warrior has control of the leg. Warrior keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pennington is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Warrior pulls his head out easily. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Warrior connects with a nice short shot to Pennington's temple. Warrior is taking a breather. Pennington says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The adventures of Warrior the control monster continue. Boring.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Warrior gets to his feet - Pennington follows without any prompting.
And that's the end of the fight! OleDirty Warrior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Warrior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
