The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crum is looking to clinch.
Crum avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crum is defended easily by Bautista.
Bautista goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bautista closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crum is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bautista to keep the fight standing.
Bautista has picked Crum up - he's going for a ride! Bautista dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bautista looks to land a strike but Crum avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Bautista sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Crum doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Bautista paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Crum - great work!
