Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Leif Romero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Trialonitis Trialonakis! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trialonakis fails with the takedown and Romero moves into the clinch. Romero tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Trialonakis smiles and moves away.
Romero closes the distance and clinches up with Trialonakis, looking for a takedown. Romero pushes Trialonakis against the cage but Trialonakis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trialonakis. Romero is looking for a counter combo. Trialonakis throws a head kick but Romero moves out of range.
Romero shoots for a double leg takedown but Trialonakis sprawls well. He's pushed Romero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leif Romero. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trialonakis drives through and clinches with Romero against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romero manages to pull guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Trialonakis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Romero swivels though and keeps the full guard. Trialonakis won't allow Romero to sweep him here. Trialonakis trying to control but Romero is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Trialonakis tries for a takedown but Romero sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trialonakis throws a body kick that misses and Romero decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Trialonakis's guard. Romero scoring with some ground and pound. Trialonakis wants to control the position but Romero says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Romero in particular looking to stall. Trialonakis wants to improve his position but Romero is controlling well.
Trialonakis looks winded! Trialonakis is defending against the submission attempts here by Romero.
Romero perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Romero. Trialonakis taking some punishment here, with Romero in his half guard. Romero sitting and controlling from the half guard. Romero will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Romero working Trialonakis over with strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Trialonakis wants to get back to his feet.

Trialonakis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Romero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Romero sneaks out the side door and pushes Trialonakis away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Romero really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Trialonakis gets caught napping as Romero dives in and scores a takedown. Trialonakis manages to retain guard. Trialonakis wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Romero manages to pass to side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Romero with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Leif Romero overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Trialonakis regains full guard. Nicely done. Romero controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Trialonakis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Romero is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Romero lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Romero controlling the action here. Romero stands up and beckons Trialonakis to join him on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trialonakis shoots in but Romero avoids the takedown attempt easily. Romero darts in looking for a takedown but Trialonakis gets double underhooks and turns Romero into the cage. Trialonakis has managed to clinch.
Romero prevents Trialonakis from breaking the clinch. Trialonakis drags the fight down to the ground.
Trialonakis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Romero can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Romero sitting in guard here, content to control. Trialonakis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Romero defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Romero decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Leif Romero is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Romero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Trialonakis wants to get back to his feet but Romero is dominant here and he's now got Trialonakis's back! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Romero has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Trialonakis is defending well but eventually Romero manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Trialonakis has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
