Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filorio getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
A looping hook to the body misses from Filorio. Irwin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Filorio is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Irwin.
Irwin is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Filorio forces Irwin back against the cage and clinches.
Irwin blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Filorio has had enough of the clinch but Irwin keeps him there for the moment.
Filorio can't break the clinch.
Irwin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Filorio gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Filorio decides to pull guard.
Irwin looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Irwin trying to control but Filorio is working from the bottom.

Irwin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Filorio keeping moving, preventing Irwin from controlling successfully.
Irwin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Irwin trying to control the position from guard on top but Filorio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Filorio scores with a nice strike.
Filorio with a nice cross.

Irwin is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Irwin shoots for a takedown but Filorio saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
BOOM! Filorio lands a beautiful left hook that drops Irwin. Irwin tries to recover but Filorio is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Irwin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
