Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clydee Forte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Clydee Forte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Power! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Power. Forte is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Power's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Power is looking to take a break and control but Forte is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Forte is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Power trying to control the action but Forte is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Power is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Power controlling the action here. Power is keen to just control but Forte is a slippery customer. Forte flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Power wants to control but Forte is keeping him busy.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Power tries to clinch up but Forte circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Power looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Power shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Forte tries to reverse the position but Power maintains control. Power misses with a head shot. Power really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Forte. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Power with good strikes from the mount here! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Forte avoids a series of strikes thrown by Power.
Forte is looking to get to half guard. Power tries to control but Forte wriggling away. Forte regains half guard. Power is trying to control the action in half guard but Forte is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Forte makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Forte. Power looks gassed! Forte is looking for a triangle but Power pushes his legs off easily.
Forte keeping full guard, as Power tries to pass. Power stands up from guard. Let's bang! Forte does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Forte could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Forte fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Forte. This has been an exciting period of action! Power stops Forte from passing to mount. Forte working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Power wants to control but Forte postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Power gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Forte is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Power is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Power flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Forte anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Power and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Forte slips an arm under Power chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Forte has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Forte is squeezing on Power like an anaconda would it's prey. Power fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Clydee Forte!
