Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that John Brown has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Brown seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McDonald is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, McDonald circles away and we're back to standing.
McDonald throws an overhand right that lands on Brown's shoulder, as Brown tries to avoid the shot.
McDonald is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.

It looks like John Brown has been cut.
No joy there for McDonald, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McDonald thows a leg kick but Brown checks it

and Brown counters with a shoot takedown. McDonald fights it but they end up in guard.

McDonald avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Brown.

McDonald really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McDonald wants to hold on but Brown pushes him away.
Brown throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Brown loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have McDonald scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Brown land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Brown stands and salutes the crowd.
