Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zhengtao Wei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Tamad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamad has chosen The Joker as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zhengtao Wei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 27 - 1, fighting out of London, Juan Tamad! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamad takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tamad scores with a jab. Wei acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Tamad closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wei did well to prevent Tamad getting side control. Tamad throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Wei preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Wei manages to get to full guard.
Wei controls Tamad momentarily but Tamad frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wei has control of Tamad's left arm, preventing Tamad from doing any damage. Wei is looking for a triangle but Tamad pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wei keeping moving, preventing Tamad from controlling successfully. Tamad throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wei works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wei looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wei pulls Tamad in close to prevent any damage. Wei utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tamad takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Tamad throws a poor cross that misses

Tamad shoots in looking for a takedown. Wei tries to sprawl out of it but Tamad keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wei manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tamad has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Zhengtao Wei is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wei feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tamad's calf. Tamad misses with an uppercut. Wei saw that one coming. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wei.

Wei misses the shot to the body. Horrible takedown attempt by Tamad or perhaps it was just good defense by Wei, which made it look bad.

Tamad swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Tamad checks the leg kick. Tamad misses with a low kick. That kick from Wei tenderised Tamad's leg. Tamad is trying to keep his angry face on. Tamad buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Tamad takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Tamad lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Wei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wei lands with a thumping leg kick.

Tamad connects with a single shot there. Tamad will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Zhengtao Wei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Tamad. Wei swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tamad dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wei. That did some damage! Wei is looking to wear down Tamad with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Tamad walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Wei keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tamad. Wei takes a swing at Tamad's ribcage but misses. Tamad is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wei tries to counter with a takedown but Tamad is quick to defend against it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zhengtao Wei dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looks like Zhengtao Wei has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Wei checks a leg kick nicely. Wei has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Tamad postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tamad throws a strike but Wei rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wei is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Tamad is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wei loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Zhengtao Wei will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Zhengtao Wei's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tamad looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Zhengtao Wei is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wei connects with a solid leg kick. A cross from Wei lands. Tamad bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Zhengtao Wei is winning the standup battle so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tamad pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Wei takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tamad chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wei can pounce on him.

And that's the end of the fight! Zhengtao Wei showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wei has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
