Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quiet Monkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nem Sis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monkey comes to the cage accompanied by Epic - Faith No More. Sis has chosen Tsunami as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Monkey moves away.
Monkey clinches up with Sis and pushes him back against the cage.
Monkey takes a shot to the head.
Sis gets through Monkey's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Monkey blocks an uppercut.
A short uppercut from Sis.
Sis misses with a hook from the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Monkey works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Monkey wants to control from the top but Sis keeps moving.
We've been hearing good reports from Monkey's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Monkey tries to free his leg and advance position but Sis is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Monkey fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sis checks it well.
Monkey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sis.
Sis wants to counter the offense by Monkey and move into the clinch position.
Monkey lands a lovely overhand right.
Monkey moves into range and clinches up with Sis.
Sis lands a hook that snaps the head of Monkey backwards.
Sis is trying to trip Monkey. He has hold of a leg but Monkey is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sis persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Monkey lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Monkey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sis is keeping the position for now.
Monkey throws an elbow that misses. Sis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Monkey's guard. Nice move by Sis!
Sis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sis's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sis stands up over Monkey, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Monkey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Monkey is tightening it up a little... Sis has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sis reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sis taps out! Nice BJJ there by Monkey!
