Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Damian Lizard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikami Kanno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damian Lizard looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanno tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lizard lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Kanno misses the jab.
Lizard throws a head kick but Kanno moves out of range.
Kanno is looking to slow Lizard down with leg kicks.

Kanno closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Kanno lands with a light punch inside.
Lizard wants to break free but Kanno has control.
Lizard can't break the clinch.
A short left from Kanno.
Still in the clinch, Kanno scores with a nice short uppercut.
Nice body punch from Kanno.
Kanno told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Lizard is breathing heavily.
Lizard is trying to stall.
Lizard tries to throw a body punch but Kanno avoids it by throwing Lizard back against the ropes.
Kanno stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Kanno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lizard takes one to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lizard closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Kanno scores with a jab to the jaw.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kanno.
Kanno is looking to slow Lizard down with leg kicks.
Kanno connects with a high kick.
A head kick misses from Kanno.
An inside leg kick lands from Kanno.
Kanno works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
