Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rich Silva!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Griffin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.
Silva is looking to clinch.
Griffin gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch.
Silva throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Silva looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Silva lands a hook that snaps the head of Griffin backwards.
Silva lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Griffin drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Griffin tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonathan Griffin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva lands a body shot.

Griffin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Griffin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Silva gets underhooks to prevent Griffin's takedown attempt.

Silva digs a right hand underneath Griffin's ribcage. Griffin let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Griffin is breathing heavily.
Silva cracks Griffin with a nice body shot.
Silva is working Griffin over against the cage.
Silva lands with a light punch inside.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Silva lands a hook to the side of the head.
Griffin is rocked!
Silva unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Griffin! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Silva is unloading with more strikes now! Griffin drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rich Silva!
