Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfred Hammarskjold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prime comes into the arena with Rich Boy - Boy Looka Here blaring out of the sound system. Hammarskjold is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rasmus på luffen - Luffarvisan. Alfred Hammarskjold struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Alfred Hammarskjold acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Alfred Hammarskjold has been cut.
Prime misses with a head kick.
Hammarskjold manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Prime on his heels. He'll look to pass Prime's guard now, I'm sure.
Prime uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Prime throws a head kick but Hammarskjold moves out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hammarskjold throws a strike but Prime rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Prime swings for the body but Hammarskjold moves out of range.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hammarskjold! But no joy.
Prime tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hammarskjold decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hammarskjold is stalling here. Prime is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hammarskjold seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Prime has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Prime here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That has opened up Alfred Hammarskjold's cut even more.
Prime tried to score with a low kick but Hammarskjold checks it.
And Hammarskjold tries to counter it with a takedown but Prime pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Prime tries to bum rush Hammarskjold with a series of wild strikes but Hammarskjold uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Optimus Prime is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Prime tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hammarskjold paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Despite the aggression on Hammarskjold's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Hammarskjold takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The cut above Alfred Hammarskjold's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alfred Hammarskjold's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
