The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhew stuffs the takedown.
As Todd tries to get set, Mayhew tries to push him back and clinch up but Todd manages to avoid the attempt.

Todd tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mayhew defends well and Todd ends up having to push Mayhew into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Todd missing with a left hand there. Mayhew was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mayhew seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Todd lands a big head kick that sends Mayhew tumbling to the mat! Todd takes a step backwards and waves Mayhew back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Todd gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Todd drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mayhew pulls his leg out and moves away.

Todd drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

A left and a right from Mayhew both land. Nice combination.
Todd fails to land with a series of punches.
Todd lands the left hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mayhew is defended easily by Todd.
Todd throws a good cross that connects.
Mayhew is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

and Mayhew moves into the clinch.

Todd breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Todd goes for a double leg but Mayhew avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mayhew continues to drive forward.
Mayhew digs a good body shot into Todd's ribs.

Todd gets tackled into the cage by Mayhew. Mayhew maintains the clinch.

Mayhew's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mayhew fails to land the takedown.
Todd takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Mayhew feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Todd sprawling to the canvas! Todd rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mayhew finish him?!

Todd is rocked!
Todd walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Mayhew swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
