Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Bo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Time 4 Sum Aksion. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank White! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Bo! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bo is looking to score with low kicks. White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A swing and a miss from Bo. White gets the takedown into side control. White tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no White has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! White swings around for an armbar but Bo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into White's guard. Bo thows a big elbow that misses. Bo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as White works some decent striking defense from the bottom. White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bo tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard. Bo trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. White has his foot on Bo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bo works his way back into a safe position though. White has an active guard here but Bo has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. White is looking to get back to full guard here but Bo has managed to pass to side control instead. White really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bo with a couple of short strikes. White is in all sorts of trouble here.
White gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White strikes from the bottom but Bo uses the opportunity to move to side control.
White really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. White is breathing heavily. The ground and pound from Bo seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bo creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Bo working away. Bo cracks White with an elbow. That is naaassty. Bo scoring with punches and elbows. Bo misses with the ground and pound. Bo is chipping away with strikes.
White is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bo misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Bo throwing shots but missing, from side control. White is looking to reverse the position. White is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bo off and has taken his back! White is trying to stick to Bo's back but Bo is turning into White. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in White's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bo. Bo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. White keeping moving, preventing Bo from controlling successfully. Bo distracts White with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bo drops back looking for a leg! White is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and White manages to kick Bo off! Bo jumps back into White's guard. White working a defensive guard but Bo manages to pass into side control anyway.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Bo dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bo missing with a left hand there. White was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bo waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract White. Bo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bo is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Bo circles away and we're back to standing. Bo scores with a hook.
White is rocked! White slips a jab from Bo. Oh White is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice shot lands for Bo. White slips under a jab from Bo. Bo lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. White is looking to close the distance but Bo sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! White crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope White is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Jim Bo! Jim Bo is the new bantamweight champion!
