Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roderick Seterra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Forte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seterra comes to the ring accompanied by Faint. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roderick Seterra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carlos Forte!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seterra attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Seterra plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Donk. Seterra catches Forte right on the button with a cross.
We've been told by Seterra's head coaches at Bonsai Club MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Forte shoots in looking for a takedown. Seterra tries to sprawl out of it but Forte keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Seterra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Seterra was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Crunch! Seterra slams his shin into Forte's torso.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seterra throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Forte moves out of range of the body kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Forte.
Seterra is looking for a counter combo.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Forte feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Forte trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Seterra wants to sweep but no luck.
Forte slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Seterra is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Forte wants to control from the top but Seterra keeps moving.

Forte has gone for a leg lock! Seterra slips out almost immediately though and dives into Forte's guard.


That's two minutes gone in the round.
Seterra controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Seterra has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Seterra wants to control from the top but Forte keeps moving.
Seterra has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Forte is proving hard to escape from.

Seterra gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Seterra.
Forte is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Seterra tried to score with a low kick but Forte checks it.
Forte tries to score a power double leg takedown but Seterra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Forte somewhat.
Seterra seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Roderick Seterra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Forte.
Nice takedown defense from Seterra. No joy for Forte on that attempt.
Seterra attempts a counter takedown but Forte avoids it well and moves away.
Seterra throws a head kick but Forte moves out of range.
Seterra throws a low kick but Forte moves out of range easily.
Seterra tries a head kick but it misses.
Forte shoots in looking for a takedown but Seterra manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Forte's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Seterra throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Forte scores with a takedown into Seterra's guard.
Forte wants to control from the top but Seterra keeps moving.
Forte stops Seterra from standing up.
Seterra bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Forte's guard.

Forte keeping moving, preventing Seterra from controlling successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Seterra has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Forte is proving hard to escape from.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roderick Seterra dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Forte shoots and misses
and Seterra counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've been informed that Forte has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Forte moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Forte tries for a takedown but Seterra circles away easily
and Seterra counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Forte! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Seterra!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roderick Seterra!
Roderick Seterra gave a mention to Sun-Tzu in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
