Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leonel Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen has chosen Can't be Touched as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Al Allen enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leonel Dennis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Al Allen! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen digs a good body shot into Dennis's ribs. Allen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dennis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Allen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Allen stands up and waves to Dennis to follow him. Allen thows a leg kick but Dennis checks it enabling Dennis to counter with a crisp jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dennis goes for a takedown in the clinch but Allen prevents it.
Allen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Denniss head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dennis letting Allen take a breather here. Allen stops a takedown attempt from Dennis.
Allen jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Allen is pulling down on Dennis's head to control his posture. Dennis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dennis stands up from Allen's guard - Dennis perhaps looking for a knockout. Allen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dennis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dennis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Allen is one step ahead there. Dennis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Allen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dennis is trying to keep Allen in close.
Dennis wants to sweep but no luck. Allen controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Allen works a leg free and moves into half guard. Allen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen controlling the pace. Dennis punching from the bottom.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Allen working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Allen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dennis defending well though. Allen keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Allen decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Allen looking to score a takedown here. Dennis is defending well but Allen drives through and ends up in Dennis's guard. Allen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Allen throwing strikes but missing. Allen won't allow Dennis to get back to his feet. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Allen won't allow Dennis to sweep him here. Allen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen pushing down on Dennis's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Allen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Allen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dennis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dennis tries to roll over but Allen keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Al Allen dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Nice takedown defense from Allen. No joy for Dennis on that attempt. Allen shoots in and bounces Dennis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Allen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Al Allen has got the better of the ground game so far. Dennis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Allen's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen seems keen to control Dennis's posture. Dennis trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen is adopting a defensive guard. Dennis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Allen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dennis wants to stand but Allen has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Allen throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Allen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dennis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Allen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dennis keeping moving, preventing Allen from controlling successfully. Allen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dennis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Allen has Dennis in his guard. Allen pulls Dennis in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dennis won't allow Allen to sweep him here. Allen has control of Dennis's left arm, preventing Dennis from doing any damage. Dennis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dennis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Allen working a defensive guard here.
Allen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Allen wants to stand but Dennis is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Allen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dennis sprawls well initially but Allen persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dennis wants to stand back up but Allen manages to pass into side control.
The referee asks Allen politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Allen prefers to stall for the moment though. Dennis is looking for a sweep. Allen advances to full mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Allen lands a nice shot to the head. Dennis wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Allen thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Al Allen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Allen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dennis was well out of range. Poor timing from Allen. Dennis drops down looking for a counter takedown but Allen sprawls and moves away. Al Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Allen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Allen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Dennis regains guard.
Allen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Dennis is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Allen wants to counter with a clinch but Dennis pushes him away. Allen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Allen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Allen sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dennis is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Dennis is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dennis is working hard here to advance position. Allen moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Allen staying calm. Dennis pushes Allen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Allen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Allen moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dennis is trying to get back to half guard. Allen controlling the position from side mount. Dennis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Allen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Dennis looks to move to half guard but instead Allen has passed into mount! Damn! Allen prevents Dennis from getting the reversal. The referee warns Dennis that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dennis is working to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dennis has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Dennis is rocked! Dennis tries to get back to half guard but can't. Oh Dennis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Allen cracks Dennis with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Allen! Al Allen spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
