Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danok Linus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danok Linus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Gracie! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Linus cracks Gracie with an open hand slap. Gracie darts in and clinches Linus up against the ropes. Gracie breaks the clinch.
Gracie thows a leg kick but Linus checks it and Linus counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gracie seems keen to control Linus's posture. Linus trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Linus throws a big elbow that misses. Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie is still trying to improve position. Linus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Linus stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Linus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. An attempted straight right counter from Linus misses the target. Some wild striking there from Gracie.
Gracie misses with a wild body shot. Linus moves out of range as Gracie throws a body kick.
A head kick misses from Gracie. Linus feinted with a counter takedown. Linus slips a jab and a cross from Gracie.
An inside leg kick from Linus misses. We've been hearing reports that Linus has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Gracie throws a head kick but Linus moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Linus on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Gracie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Linus throws a combination that misses and Linus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie forces Linus back against the ropes and clinches. Linus is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Linus gets a trip takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie wants to get back to full guard. Linus stalling away here and it's allowed Gracie to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Linus stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Gracie has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Linus manages to get his head free but now Gracie has transitioned to an armbar! Linus grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Gracie! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Anderson Gracie! A less than humble Anderson Gracie misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
