Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kylla Ei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kivipelto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kylla Ei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kalle Kivipelto! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Kivipelto misses. Ei dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kivipelto. That did some damage! Kivipelto walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. A slow jab from Kivipelto misses its intended target. Kivipelto defending well as Ei loads up on a big left hand. Ei fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ei throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kivipelto sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ei takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kivipelto tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ei misses with a double jab.
Kivipelto feints a counter leg kick. Kivipelto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ei. Ei throws a leg kick that misses. Ei swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kivipelto misses with an uppercut. Ei saw that one coming. Kivipelto fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. The fighters circling - Kivipelto throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ei misses with a looping left. Ei uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kivipelto. Ei appears to be looking for a big counter. Kivipelto misses with an uppercut. Kivipelto slips a jab and a cross from Ei.
Ei clinches up with Kivipelto and pushes him back against the cage. Kivipelto stalls. A quick uppercut on the inside from Kivipelto. Kivipelto prevents a body shot from Ei. Ei throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kivipelto blocks it with crossed arms.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is keeping an eye on Kivipelto - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Ei lands a right hand. Kivipelto tries to throw a body punch but Ei avoids it by throwing Kivipelto back against the cage. Kivipelto is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Ei has Kivipelto pressed against the cage.
Ei dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Kivipelto cracks Ei with a nice body shot. Ei is breathing heavily. Ei trying to land knees to the body.
Kivipelto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ei goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Kylla Ei is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ei lands a leg kick that knocks Kivipelto off balance momentarily. Kivipelto will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ei closes the distance and clinches. Kivipelto tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kivipelto is looking to break free of the clinch but Ei has double underhooks. Ei trying to land knees to the body.
Kivipelto trying to control the position but instead, Ei has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kivipelto into the cage. Kivipelto managing to block the knees to the body from Ei.

Ei tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kivipelto avoids it. Kivipelto scores with a shoulder strike. Kivipelto has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Ei throws a knee to the head but misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kivipelto stalling in the clinch but Ei improves position. Kivipelto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. An inside leg kick from Kivipelto misses. As Kivipelto backs away, Ei returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. A good leg kick by Ei. Kivipelto manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ei on his heels. He'll look to pass Ei's guard now, I'm sure. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kivipelto loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ei wants to stand up but Kivipelto is controlling him. Kivipelto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ei preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ei wants to stand up but Kivipelto is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kylla Ei dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ei swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Ei misses with a two punch combination.
Kivipelto swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Jab from Ei. Ei with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ei moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Kylla Ei is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kivipelto slips a straight right by Ei. Ei feints a jab promting Kivipelto to slip. Ei then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kivipelto slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Ei gets a clinch.

Ei is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kivipelto can do to turn this around? Ei working aggressively here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Ei lands a nice knee to the body. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ei creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kivipelto dodges an elbow strike from Ei.

Ei connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jab, jab by Ei - just one landing. Kylla Ei is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ei is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kivipelto. Kivipelto jabs at Ei's body. We've been told by Ei's head coaches at LOD: Lightning Kicks (MaxID260K) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kivipelto misses with a hook. Ei ducked under it nicely. Ei shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kivipelto eats them both and turns towards Ei to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. A punch combination from Ei misses. Kivipelto is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ei will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kivipelto throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kivipelto is trying to break the clinch but Ei is controlling him. Ei looking to throw knees to the head but Kivipelto is blocking nicely.
Ei lands a good knee to the midsection. Kivipelto won't want to take too many of those. Kivipelto is breathing heavily. Ei crunches a lovely knee into Kivipelto's ribcage. Kivipelto takes a knee to the side of the body. Ei manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Ei throws out a powerful jab. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ei. Kivipelto shrugs it off though. Kivipelto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kivipelto misses with a takedown attempt - Ei sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ei jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Kivipelto throws a poor cross that misses
and Ei cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ei fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kivipelto, pushing him back against the cage. Kylla Ei has scored more points in the clinch so far. Kivipelto tries to work over Ei's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ei has a couple of punches blocked by Kivipelto.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ei utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Ei unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kivipelto lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Kalle Kivipelto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kivipelto has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Ei seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Kivipelto can turn it around.

That could be painful for both fighters. Kivipelto misses the jab. Ei fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kivipelto manages to avoid it. Ei looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ei, right into the meat.
Ei throws a looping overhand right but Kivipelto ducks down to avoid it. Kivipelto keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ei. Kivipelto looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ei lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Ei on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kivipelto shoots in and drives through. Ei sprawls well. Ei throwing a counter right hand but Kivipelto manages to avoid it. Ei throws a lazy right hand but Kivipelto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kivipelto drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ei defends it well. Kivipelto throws a nice looking combination but Ei bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kivipelto swats away the attempt to clinch by Ei.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ei throws a series of punches but Kivipelto moves out of range. Ei lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kylla Ei is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ei takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

And that's the end of the fight! Kylla Ei showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ei, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
