Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Lapis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sinbad Sailor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Once Solemn . Sailor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sailing on the Seven Seas. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailor shoots and misses
and Lapis counters with a one-two to the body.
Lapis tries to bum rush Sailor with a series of wild strikes but Sailor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lapis connects with a right hand. Sailor shakes it off.
Sailor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lapis avoids it really well and circles away.
Lapis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lapis tries to counter by clinching up but Sailor breaks away and moves out of range.
Andrey Lapis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sinbad Sailor.
Sailor connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lapis's hands.

Sailor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lapis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lapis is trying to maintain a safe position but Sailor gets an underhook and turns Lapis into the cage.
Sailor tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Lapis has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Lapis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Sailor clinches.
Lapis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lapis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sailor is fending him off so far but Lapis persists. Nope, Sailor circles away and we're back to standing.

Sailor misses with a takedown attempt - Lapis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
