Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Slewton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Simons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simons has chosen Turnt Up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Carlos Slewton could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Henry Simons's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simons takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Simons looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Simons gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Simons is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Slewton works over Simons with some ground and pound from guard.
Simons has momentary wrist control but Slewton slips an elbow through the middle.
Simons can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Slewton controls the pace.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Slewton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Simons's guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Slewton lands a nice short elbow.

Simons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slewton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Slewton in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Simons tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Slewton!
