Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mad Rob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hasan Takashvili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hasan Takashvili struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mad Rob! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hasan Takashvili! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rob lands with a straight right. Takashvili didn't see that one coming. Takashvili has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Mad Rob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takashvili looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A low kick from Takashvili is predictable there and Rob holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Rob lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Rob's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rob scores with a leg kick.
Rob bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Takashvili's head. Rob throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Takashvili moves forwards but Rob connects with a nice, crisp jab. Rob scores with a punch to the head. Rob goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Takashvili tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rob sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Takashvili somewhat. Rob fakes the leg kick and cracks Takashvili in the body. Takashvili takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Takashvili is rocked! Rob listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Takashvili is still on wobbly legs! Can Rob finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Rob scores with a leg kick.
A jab lands there for Rob. Takashvili walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Takashvili limp body while Rob jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mad Rob! Mad Rob retains his welterweight title! A victorious Mad Rob thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
