Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Domagoj Glavas and Riff Jetson. Riff Jetson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 2 losses; Domagoj Glavas! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Riff Jetson! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Glavas has Jetson up against the cage in a clinch.
Glavas drags the fight down to the ground.
Jetson content to stall in guard here. Jetson wants to pass the guard but Glavas is keeping the position. Jetson passes into half guard. Jetson content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jetson is pressing down on Glavas's thigh, looking to free his foot. Glavas is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Glavas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jetson pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glavas gets full guard. Glavas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jetson is aware though and is defending well. Jetson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Glavas looking to control.
Glavas pushes a forearm under Jetson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jetson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
