Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Friedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Friedman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenneth Charles! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friedman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Friedman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Charles's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Friedman is in the full mount, landing strikes. Friedman controlling from mount. Charles is looking to improve his position but Friedman isn't that keen on the idea. Friedman content just to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles tries to reverse the position but Friedman maintains control. Charles in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Friedman controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Ben Friedman just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Charles on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Friedman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Charles. Friedman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Charles manages to avoid it. Friedman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Friedman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles gets back to full guard.
Friedman stands and throws Charles's legs to the side, diving into side control. Charles managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Friedman.
The strikes coming from Friedman are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Friedman takes a little break here. Charles wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Charles takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A lull in the action here. Charles prevents Friedman from improving position. Friedman is breathing heavily. Friedman in side control, just content to control the action for now. Friedman throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Charles works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Friedman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Friedman slows the pace down in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Friedman dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fighters circle momentarily. Friedman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Friedman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Charles momentarily.
Charles keeps the fight on the outside. Friedman works the jab nicely. Friedman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Friedman scores with a three punch combo!
Friedman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Charles moves away. Charles checks a low kick from Friedman. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Friedman misses with a straight left. Friedman has a takedown stuffed. Charles tries to clinch but Friedman is having none of it. Charles uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Friedman.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A good leg kick by Charles. Friedman drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Friedman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Friedman has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Charles to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Friedman is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Charles pulls down on the head and he's put Friedman to sleep! This one is all over!
