Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stu Bennett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Souza!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza jabs Bennett to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bennett scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Souza walks into a stiff left hand from Bennett.
Souza gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bennett counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bennett feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Souza's calf.
Souza ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Souza changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bennett ducks under a wild hook from Souza.
Bennett cracks Souza with a good jab.
Bennett lands a leg kick that knocks Souza off balance momentarily.
Souza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Souza throws a lazy uppercut
and Bennett counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Souza gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bennett counters with a straight right hand.
Stu Bennett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Souza.
Souza has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bennett finds it's way round the side to connect with Souza's head.

Souza shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bennett defends it nicely.
David Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Souza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bennett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Souza misses with a takedown attempt - Bennett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Souza closes the distance and clinches up with Bennett, looking for a takedown. Souza pushes Bennett against the cage but Bennett circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bennett lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Souza circles away quickly and effectively.
Souza feints the counter takedown.
Souza shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bennett sprawls well. Bennett wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Souza gets slowly back to his feet.
Stu Bennett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bennett throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Bennett lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bennett avoids the body shot from Souza.
Souza shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bennett looks to land a combination but Souza avoids it well.
Souza takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bennett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Souza.

Souza shoots in looking for a takedown but Bennett manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Souza's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Souza will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bennett punishes Souza's body with a nice straight punch.
Souza shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Souza is still on wobbly legs! Can Bennett finish him?
Souza gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Bennett gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Souza is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
