Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rustam Khabilov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kshitij Singh Negi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khabilov's entrance music is Rihanna Bitch Better Have My Money. A fine choice. Kshitij Singh Negi struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Kshitij Singh Negi has the eye of the tiger tonight.

27 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kshitij Singh Negi! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khabilov swats away the attempt to clinch by Singh Negi. Khabilov attempts a counter takedown but Singh Negi avoids it well and moves away. Kshitij Singh Negi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Singh Negi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Khabilov, pushing him back against the cage. Khabilov wants to take the fight to the mat but Singh Negi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Khabilov dodges an elbow strike from Singh Negi.
Khabilov gets control of Singh Negi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Khabilov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Singh Negi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Khabilov's guard. Khabilov pulls Singh Negi in close to prevent any damage. Singh Negi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khabilov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Khabilov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Khabilov looking to sit in guard and control but Singh Negi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Khabilov has his hands on Singh Negi's head, controlling the position. Singh Negi wants to get up but he can't break Khabilov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Khabilov is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Rustam Khabilov will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Khabilov keeps the fight on the outside. Singh Negi has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Khabilov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Singh Negi's waist but Singh Negi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Khabilov off to one side. Khabilov shoots in but Singh Negi avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Khabilov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kshitij Singh Negi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rustam Khabilov's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Khabilov or perhaps it was just good defense by Singh Negi, which made it look bad. Khabilov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Singh Negi's half guard.

Khabilov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Singh Negi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Singh Negi is trying to stand.
