Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Akhmetov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miller Gozu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miller Gozu! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akhmetov with a poor takedown and Gozu counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Gozu gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gozu is figuring out what he wants to do next. Gozu throwing shots but Akhmetov is blocking nicely. Gozu is trying to control the action in half guard but Akhmetov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gozu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Akhmetov is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Body Pain_14elite_650$+VM that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Akhmetov misses the shot to the body. A low kick from Akhmetov is predictable there and Akhmetov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Akhmetov shoots for a takedown but Gozu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Akhmetov misses with a double jab.

and Gozu counters with a single leg into guard. Akhmetov didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akhmetov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gozu trying to control the position from guard on top but Akhmetov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gozu is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Gozu throws a strike but Akhmetov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Gozu looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Gozu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Akhmetov is one step ahead there. Gozu looking to control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gozu is pulling down on Akhmetov's head. It's preventing any offense from Akhmetov, at least for the moment. Gozu is looking for a triangle but Akhmetov pushes his legs off easily.

Miller Gozu dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Gozu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Gozu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gozu is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Miller Gozu has got the better of the ground game so far. Gozu misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Gozu advances to full mount. Akhmetov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gozu on the ground. Gozu looking to secure an arm triangle but Akhmetov defends it well. Gozu trying to control but Akhmetov is having none of it. Gozu sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Akhmetov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Akhmetov tries to get out of the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Miller Gozu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Akhmetov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gozu napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gozu tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gozu manages to get back to half guard. Akhmetov stalling. Gozu regains full guard. Nicely done. Gozu looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gozu is looking for a triangle but Akhmetov pushes his legs off easily.
Gozu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gozu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Miller Gozu is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. More stalling from Gozu.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Akhmetov lands a glancing blow to the side of Gozu's head. Akhmetov clinches with his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Gozu just misses with a elbow thrown towards Akhmetov's brow. Dmitri Akhmetov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gozu throws an elbow but it misses.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Miller Gozu. I've got Gozu winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
