Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marlboro Menthol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zergus Zergin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marlboro Menthol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zergus Zergin! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Menthol takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Menthol fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zergin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Zergin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Zergus Zergin has been cut. Menthol lands a with a good body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zergin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Zergin looks gassed! Zergin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Menthol drops Zergin with a nice combination! Menthol dives into Zergin's guard, looking to finish!
Zergin is rocked!
That has opened up Zergus Zergin's cut even more. Menthol trying to control the position from guard on top but Zergin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Menthol is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Menthol is pushing down on Zergin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zergin is fighting to maintain full guard but Menthol has managed to sneak the leg through. Menthol is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Menthol wants to take Zergin's back here but Zergin is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Zergin really wants to buck Menthol off and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zergin is desperately trying to improve his position but Menthol has a good base and remains in mount. Menthol working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Menthol looking to control and managing it successfully. Menthol trying to control but Zergin is having none of it. Zergin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Menthol wants to take Zergin's back here but Zergin is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Zergin is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Menthol with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Menthol working for a guillotine from mount but Zergin is in no mood to give up. Menthol wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Zergin tries to buck Menthol off but he can't manage it. Menthol will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Menthol has control of Zergin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Zergin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Zergin is trying to stand up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zergin can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Menthol avoids the attempt from Zergin to control. Menthol has control of Zergin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Zergin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Zergin tries to hold on but Menthol postures up. Menthol swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Zergin is now in Menthol's guard. A big mistake from Menthol there, giving up the dominant position! Zergin stands and steps away. Menthol gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zergin cracks the inside of Menthol's front leg. Marlboro Menthol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Menthol staying out of range there. Nice uppercut lands for Menthol. That snapped Zergin's head back.
A punch combination from Zergin misses. Zergin misses with a leg kick. Menthol checks a leg kick nicely. Menthol avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zergin scores with a leg kick.
Menthol tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Zergin throws out a leg kick but Menthol moves out of range and Zergin only half commits. Menthol scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Menthol scores with a nice strike.
The cut above Zergus Zergin's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Menthol is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Zergin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Zergin scores with a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marlboro Menthol dominated that round. The cut man is working on Zergus Zergin's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Zergin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Menthol cracks Zergin with an open hand slap. Zergin throws a front kick aimed at Menthol's knee but Menthol avoids it well. Zergin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Zergin throws a push kick but Menthol slaps the foot to one side. Marlboro Menthol is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Menthol lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Zergin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Zergus Zergin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Menthol lands a with a good body shot. A cross from Menthol lands.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zergus Zergin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Marlboro Menthol!
