The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dundee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dundee scores with a jab to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dundee. Yamaguchi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yamaguchi tries to close the distance and clinch but Dundee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yamaguchi has managed to clinch.

Dundee throws a punch but it's blocked by Yamaguchi.

Dundee seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Yamaguchi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Yamaguchi throws a hook but Dundee avoids it easily.
Dundee lands a glancing blow to the side of Yamaguchi's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dundee cracks Yamaguchi with an open hand slap.

It looks like Mister Dundee has been cut.
Yamaguchi throws a right and a left that Dundee avoids nicely.
Dundee just misses with a punch to the body.
Dundee throws a lazy uppercut
and Yamaguchi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Yamaguchi feints a jab promting Dundee to slip. Yamaguchi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dundee slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dundee uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Yamaguchi has time to react.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Daiki Yamaguchi will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Mister Dundee's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dundee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yamaguchi manages to avoid it.

Oooooh!!! Yamaguchi has knocked Dundee down with a huge combo! Yamaguchi steps away and waves a wobbly Dundee back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Dundee is rocked!
Dundee is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Yamaguchi doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Dundee crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Dundee's bad books for that mishap!
