Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Romulus Veres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Van Roost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Roost is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cypress Hill - How I Could Just Kill A Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Van Roost! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Roost stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Veres. Van Roost thumps Veres with a low kick. Van Roost has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A telegraphed right hand from Van Roost misses the target. A left and a right from Van Roost both land. Nice combination. Veres takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Van Roost lands with a hook. Veres tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Veres throws a nice outside leg kick. Van Roost has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Veres. Veres moves out of range of the strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Veres walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Van Roost checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Romulus Veres! After winning the bout, Romulus Veres thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. Michael Van Roost was interviewed post fight and said 'I think I have all the skills to be a champ but misfortune laughs at me again. Props to Cu though, he brought the misfortune to me and becomes the champ.'.
