Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JD Hogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes into the arena with Gaslight Anthem - Boxer blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gregory Adams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, JD Hogg! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogg fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Adams to the ground. Hogg is now in Adams's guard. Hogg pushing down on Adams's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Adams wants to control but Hogg is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hogg is pressing down on Adams's thigh, looking to free his foot. Adams is holding on for now. Adams looking for submissions off his back. Hogg is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adams controlling the position well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hogg wants to free his trapped foot but Adams is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hogg controlling the pace. Adams tries to get to full guard but Hogg has control of the leg. Hogg controlling the action here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Adams wants to control but Hogg is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Adams fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hogg sprawls well initially but Adams persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Hogg manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Adams seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hogg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hogg swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hogg keeping moving, preventing Adams from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hogg gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Adams gets back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well, if Hogg is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Adams is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hogg pulls his head out easily. Adams tries to get to full guard but Hogg has control of the leg. Hogg tries to pass the half guard into mount. Adams knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hogg prevents Adams from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JD Hogg dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Adams is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hogg's half guard. Adams is looking to advance position but Hogg won't allow it. Adams is trying to control the action in half guard but Hogg is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Adams moves nicely into side control. Adams is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hogg has escaped the position, nice work there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hogg tries to buck Adams off but Adams is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams is trying to get an arm triangle but Hogg is defending well. Hogg is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Adams off and has taken his back! Hogg is riding his opponent, not letting Adams buck him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams trying to control the hands but Hogg breaks the grip. Hogg is hanging on to Adams's back as he tries to escape.
What can Adams do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Adams's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams is working hard here to advance position. Adams breaks Hogg's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Adams trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Hogg manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Adams keeping full guard, as Hogg tries to pass. Hogg engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hogg is continuing to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Adams looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hogg has picked Adams up and slammed him! Adams can't keep hold of the triangle and Hogg manages to pass to side control! You can see the frustration on Adams's face as Hogg controls the position. Let's hope that Hogg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JD Hogg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Adams is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Adams not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Adams controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Adams is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hogg is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hogg has escaped and now he's on top!

JD Hogg is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hogg advances to half guard. Hogg is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hogg's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

And that's the end of the fight! JD Hogg comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hogg has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
