Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Salomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austro Hze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Salomon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Austro Hze!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hze gets tackled into the cage by Salomon. Salomon maintains the clinch.
Salomon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Hze breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Salomon.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sloppy strikes there by Salomon.
Salomon trying to control the position but Hze is working away.
Salomon wants to stand but Hze is controlling his arm.
Hze is looking for a sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hze is not content to let Salomon control the position.

Salomon remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Salomon goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hze rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Salomon's guard! Nice work there by Hze!
Salomon lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Salomon is looking to advance position but Hze has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Salomon is trying to control Hze's posture but Hze avoids it.

Hze is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Salomon has escaped the position, nice work there.
Salomon is looking to reverse the position.

The ground and pound from Hze seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salomon sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

A close round but Austro Hze will probably get the nod.

Salomon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Salomon is defended easily by Hze.
David Salomon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Salomon takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salomon.
Hze misses with a head kick.

Hze breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Salomon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hze finds it's way round the side to connect with Salomon's head.

Hze looks for the body kick but Salomon saw that one coming.
Hze has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Salomon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Hze kicks Salomon off and gets back to his feet.
Hze blocks a head kick by Salomon.
Salomon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hze misses with a double jab.
Hze shoots in for a takedown but Salomon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Salomon circles away from the clinch attempt

so Salomon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hze is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Salomon wants to control from the top but Hze keeps moving.

Salomon sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Salomon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Salomon advances position into side control!
Hze can't do much from the bottom here.

Salomon goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hze has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Salomon but great work by Hze.
Salomon tries to escape but Hze is in control.
Salomon is not content to let Hze control the position.
Salomon tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hze working away.

Salomon is looking to reverse the position.
Salomon gets back to half guard.
Hze thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Salomon's head.
Salomon controlling the position for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Austro Hze showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Hze takes a swing at Salomon's ribcage but misses.

and Salomon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Hze is in trouble now - Salomon has advanced to mount!

Salomon wants to control from the top but Hze keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Salomon fails with a takedown attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Salomon is looking to clinch.
Hze ducks under a wild hook from Salomon.
Salomon shoots in but no luck this time.
Hze swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hze drives through and clinches with Salomon against the cage.

Hze breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hze drops Salomon with a beautiful combination! Salomon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hze is looking for the KO!


Salomon is rocked!
Salomon misses with a leg kick.
Oh Salomon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hze throws an overhand right that has Salomon reeling! Hze follows up with more punches and Salomon is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Austro Hze!
