Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jac Baclk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javi Castillejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javi Castillejo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castillejo shoots in but no luck this time.
Baclk looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Castillejo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Baclk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Castillejo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Baclk defends well and Castillejo ends up having to push Baclk into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jac Baclk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Javi Castillejo.

Castillejo tries to close the distance and clinch but Baclk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Baclk shoots in and drives through. Castillejo sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Castillejo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Castillejo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Castillejo is working to tighten his grip on Baclk's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Baclk has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Castillejo is really squeezing tight and eventually Baclk passes out! Castillejo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Javi Castillejo decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
