The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson gets caught flat footed, as Serra shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Brunson is looking to stand back up but Serra counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Brunson.
Brunson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Serra is looking for a kimura but Brunson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Serra to get the leverage.
Brunson is trying to control Serra's posture. Serra takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Brunson! Serra is rotating here... this could be the end... Brunson is out! Serra has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
