Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wang Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Carter fails to land with a series of punches.
Carter keeps the fight on the outside. Some wild striking there from Carter.
Carter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No luck for Chung with that takedown attempt. No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chung is looking to clinch but Carter is avoiding it.
Carter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chung. Chung avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oooh a lovely combination from Carter sends Chung down but not out. Carter dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Wang Chung has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chung is trying to get back to half guard. Chung is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Chung tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter trying to control the position but Chung is working away. Chung is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Chung should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Carter wants to stand up but Chung is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A combination from Carter does no damage. Chung connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Carter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chung. Carter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chung. Chung feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chung tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carter swats him away and circles back towards the center. Chung throws a looping overhand right but Carter ducks down to avoid it. Chung tries to clinch up. Chung closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Carter is staying active underneath Chung, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Carter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Chung throws a hook to the side of Carter's head but Carter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Chung has eaten all the pies! Chung shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carter's guard. Chung looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Chung drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Carter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chung has Carter in his guard. Chung tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven Carter dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Wang Chung's cut. That's time! Carter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Chung has hold of Carter's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chung moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Carter has worked his arm free - good work by Carter!
Chung is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Carter has escaped the position, nice work there. Chung swings around for an armbar but Carter sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chung's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chung is looking for a sweep. Carter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Chung has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carter is working away from the top position though. The fighters are battling for position here. Chung manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Chung throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chung wants to control but Carter is keeping busy and won't allow it. Carter tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Chung. Steven Carter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chung gets full guard. Wang Chung has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chung has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that's the end of the fight! Wang Chung comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Carter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
