Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wang Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Carter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Chung feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Carter is staying active underneath Chung, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Chung throws a hook to the side of Carter's head but Carter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Chung has eaten all the pies!
Chung shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carter's guard.

Chung drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Carter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chung has Carter in his guard.

That's time! Carter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Carter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chung.

Chung has hold of Carter's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Chung moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Carter has worked his arm free - good work by Carter!

Chung swings around for an armbar but Carter sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chung's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Wang Chung has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chung has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wang Chung comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
