Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Weasel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sergey Dravinski! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weasel throws a nice inside leg kick. Weasel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dravinski shoots in for a takedown but Weasel shows good takedown defense. Weasel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dravinski wants to clinch. Weasel throws a low kick, looking for Dravinski's leg but Dravinski calmly moves out of range. Weasel misses with a body shot.
Dravinski feints the counter takedown. Weasel tried to score with a low kick but Dravinski checks it. Weasel cracks the inside of Dravinski's front leg. Weasel misses with a leg kick. Dravinski moves out of range as Weasel throws a body kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dravinski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Dravinski misses with a takedown attempt - Weasel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jon Weasel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergey Dravinski. Dravinski takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Weasel throws a head kick that misses. Dravinski tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Weasel defends well and Dravinski ends up having to push Weasel into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weasel does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. That kick from Weasel tenderised Dravinski's leg. Dravinski is trying to keep his angry face on. Weasel gets off balance looking for a body kick and Dravinski counters with a single leg into guard. Weasel didn't expect that. Weasel wants to stand and escape but Dravinski is having none of it. Dravinski postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Dravinski prevents Weasel from getting back to his feet. Weasel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Weasel tries to get out of the position. Dravinski controls from within his opponent's guard. Dravinski keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Weasel's head. Weasel can't keep his opponent in guard - Dravinski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Weasel is trying to stand back up but Dravinski is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dravinski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Let's hope that Dravinski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Weasel is trying to stand.
Dravinski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dravinski is controlling the pace.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Dravinski takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dravinski performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Weasel is trying to stand up here but Dravinski is controlling him well.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Weasel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Weasel looks to land a right hand but Dravinski moved out of range. Dravinski goes for a double leg but Weasel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Weasel continues to drive forward. Weasel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dravinski counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dravinski. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dravinski is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dravinski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dravinski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Weasel's head. Dravinski controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Weasel wants to stand but Dravinski is controlling the position. Weasel is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dravinski presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Weasel throws a wild body kick that Dravinski sees coming a mile off. A good leg kick by Weasel. Jon Weasel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weasel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dravinski. Dravinski has a takedown stuffed. Dravinski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dravinski looks for a takedown but Weasel sprawls well. Weasel throws a push kick but Dravinski slaps the foot to one side. This has been an exciting period of action! A slapping body kick lands there for Weasel. Dravinski looks winded! Weasel throws a leg kick which misses Dravinski's front leg but catches the back leg as Dravinski tries to avoid it. Weasel walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dravinski checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Dravinski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Weasel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dravinski is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Weasel with a body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Weasel dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
