Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Conforti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leon Danielson! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danielson darts in and clinches Conforti up against the cage. Danielson can't find room to land a body shot as Conforti controls the action.
Danielson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Conforti is defending well for now. Conforti wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Conforti has had enough of the clinch but Danielson keeps him there for the moment. Danielson breaks the clinch.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Danielson. As Danielson tries to get set, Conforti tries to push him back and clinch up but Danielson manages to avoid the attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Conforti tries to sprawl out of it but Danielson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Conforti manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like Conforti was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. We've been told by Conforti's head coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Danielson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Danielson instigates a clinch. Conforti is rocked! Both fighters are breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Danielson throws an overhand right that has Conforti reeling! Danielson follows up with more punches and Conforti is out cold! This one is all over!
