Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Braxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Montgomery Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Braxton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Montgomery Burns! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Braxton does no damage. Braxton looks to score with a jab to the body but Burns is just out of range. Burns moves away from the strike by Braxton. Sloppy strikes from Braxton. Those never looked like landing. Braxton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Braxton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Braxton misses with a wild combination.
William Braxton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Braxton looks to land a combination but Burns avoids it well. Burns swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Burns jabs Braxton right on the nose. Braxton blinks but takes it well. Burns connects with a single shot there. Burns lands a nice shot that snaps Braxton's head back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Braxton throws a right and a left that Burns avoids nicely. Burns looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Braxton misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Braxton takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Braxton throws out a loose jab but Burns uses good head movement to avoid it. Burns showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Braxton.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Burns! But no joy. Braxton swings and misses with a shot to the body and Burns counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Burns defending well as Braxton loads up on a big left hand. Burns looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Braxton throws a nice looking combination but Burns bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Braxton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Burns counters with a straight right hand. Burns works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Burns lands with a hook. Braxton tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Braxton takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. A cross from Burns lands. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Braxton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burns circles away quickly and effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Braxton moves forwards but Burns connects with a nice, crisp jab. Burns lands with an overhand left. Braxton scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Braxton throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Burns to counter with a crisp jab. Braxton throws a hook but Burns avoids it easily. Braxton misses with the combination.
Braxton is breathing heavily. Braxton looks to land a right hand but Burns moved out of range. Burns lands a jab to the head.
Braxton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Burns is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Braxton had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Braxton looks to land a combination but Burns avoids it well. A little jabbing left from Burns on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Braxton swings for the body but Burns moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Braxton throws a combination that misses and Burns counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Braxton feints a jab promting Burns to slip. Braxton then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Burns slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Braxton swings for the body but Burns moves out of range.

It seemed like Burns was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Braxton tries to move into range but Burns moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Braxton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Burns counters with a straight right hand. Burns scores with a decent looking hook. Braxton misses with a jab to the body
and Burns connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Braxton looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burns with a hook. Braxton misses with a double jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns scores with a punch to the head. Nice jab there from Burns. Burns is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Burns cracks Braxton with a right hand to the side of the head.
Braxton is rocked! Braxton throws a hook but Burns blocks it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Burns! But no joy. Burns scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A punch combination from Braxton misses. Braxton takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Braxton's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Braxton duly obliges. Braxton misses the shot to the body. Burns with a nice cross. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jab by Burns. Burns lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Braxton misses with a combination
and Burns counters with a straight right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Braxton looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burns scores with a punch to the head. Burns paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Burns uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Braxton. Braxton throws a lazy right hand but Burns sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Braxton drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Burns in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Braxton misses with a combination

That's three minutes gone in the round. Braxton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Burns connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Braxton scrambles back to his feet. Burns uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Braxton throws a combination that misses and Braxton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Burns catches Braxton with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Burns drops Braxton with a big left hand and mounts him. Braxton is in big trouble! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Burns controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burns cracks Braxton with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
