Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lamar Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradley has chosen rocky road to dublin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lamar Butler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Bradley! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butler rushes Bradley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Butler manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bradley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Butler is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bradley is aware though and is defending well. Butler managing to control the position. Butler continues to stall. Bradley not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bradley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bradley content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bradley is one step ahead there. Butler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bradley manages to get himself to full guard.
Butler wants to control from the top but Bradley keeps moving. Bradley has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Butler has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Bradley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Bradley fails with a takedown attempt. Butler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bradley as he avoids it easily. Butler drives through and clinches with Bradley against the cage.
Bradley is trying to force a seperation but Butler has the dominant position. Butler tries to pull guard but Bradley won't allow it.

Butler is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Butler fails to pull guard.
Bradley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Butler uses from the top position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Butler slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bradley trying to keep a closed guard but Butler is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bradley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Butler slips nicely into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are battling for position here. Bradley manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bradley pulls Butler in close to prevent any damage. Butler gets to his feet. Bradley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bradley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Butler's waist but Butler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bradley off to one side. Butler shoots in but Bradley avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bradley feints the counter takedown. Bradley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bradley shoots for a takedown but Butler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Butler is looking to clinch. Butler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bradley tries to avoid it but Butler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bradley to the ground. Bradley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A punch combination from Bradley misses. Bradley looks winded! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bradley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Butler dives in for a single leg takedown but Bradley sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Joe Bradley will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bradley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bradley wants it to stay on the feet. Bradley has a takedown stuffed. Bradley moves out of range of the strikes. Butler swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bradley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Butler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bradley swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bradley gets in close and instigates a clinch. Butler avoids the elbow strike from Bradley, against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bradley prevents the takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bradley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Butler.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lamar Butler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bradley just leaning against Butler, taking a breather. Butler using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bradley has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Butler wants to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bradley looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bradley is concentrating on defense, preventing Butler from advancing position. Joe Bradley has got the better of the ground game so far. It looks like Butler is going to stand back up.
Bradley is refusing to be controlled, as Butler sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bradley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Butler is working away from the top position though. Bradley has hold of Butler's hands but Butler slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Butler looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Butler has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Butler trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Butler wants to finish this one by submission but Bradley is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Butler. Butler throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Butler looking to control but Bradley is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bradley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bradley is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Lamar Butler will probably get the nod. That's time! Butler's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
A head kick misses from Bradley. Butler clinches up with Bradley and pushes him back against the cage. Butler misses with a hook from the clinch. Bradley is trying to push Butler away but Butler has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bradley prevents a takedown attempt there.

Butler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Butler leaves Bradley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Butler. Bradley does a little dance to reset his feet. Butler gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Butler looks for the body kick but Bradley saw that one coming. Joe Bradley seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bradley is defended easily by Butler. Lamar Butler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Bradley. Bradley misses with the combination.
Bradley takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bradley drops his hands momentarily and Butler takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bradley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nice takedown defense from Bradley. No joy for Butler on that attempt. A head kick from Butler lands but Bradley takes it in his stride. Butler looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Butler tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bradley.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bradley is staying active underneath Butler, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Butler trying to pass the guard but Bradley defending well. Butler wants to take a breather but Bradley is having none of it. Butler is trying to work for a kimura but Bradley is defending well.
Bradley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butler trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Butler wants to control from the top but Bradley keeps moving.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Butler checks a leg kick nicely. Butler doesn't manage to clinch there - Bradley circles away.
Butler wants to clinch up but Bradley keeps it at a distance. Butler tries to clinch but Bradley is having none of it. Bradley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Butler manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Butler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bradley.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Butler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bradley sprawls well initially but Butler persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Butler trying to control the action but Bradley is working from the bottom. Butler wants to free his trapped foot but Bradley is holding on for dear life with his legs. Butler throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bradley is looking for a sweep. Butler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Butler is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that's the end of the fight! Lamar Butler showed his dominance in that final round. I think Butler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
