Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Tanlagu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanlagu comes to the cage accompanied by Where The Hood At. Wallace has chosen BraveHeart as his entrance music. William Wallace has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 22 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Tanlagu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, William Wallace! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanlagu tries to bum rush Wallace with a series of wild strikes but Wallace uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tanlagu looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Tanlagu slaps away a takedown attempt from Wallace, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tanlagu seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. David Tanlagu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Tanlagu tries for a takedown but Wallace circles away easily and Wallace counters with a nice kick to the body. Tanlagu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wallace. David Tanlagu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Wallace. Wallace shoots for a double leg takedown but Tanlagu sprawls well. He's pushed Wallace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tanlagu tries to counter by clinching up but Wallace breaks away and moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Tanlagu if he has to take too many more of those.

Wallace tries for a takedown but Tanlagu sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tanlagu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tanlagu wants it to stay on the feet. Tanlagu drops down looking for a counter takedown but Wallace sprawls and moves away. Tanlagu fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Wallace is out of range. Wallace throws out a counter right but Tanlagu avoids it with no problem. Wallace shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wallace takes a swing at Tanlagu's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace tries to clinch but Tanlagu is having none of it. Tanlagu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Wallace feints and then cracks Tanlagu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tanlagu down. Wallace lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tanlagu takes a step back to recover. Tanlagu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tanlagu misses with a hook. Wallace shoots in looking for a takedown but Tanlagu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wallace's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tanlagu pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Wallace looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wallace drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tanlagu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wallace is one step ahead there. Wallace wants to control from the top but Tanlagu keeps moving. Wallace's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tanlagu is working an open guard so Wallace takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wallace pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tanlagu back to the cage. Wallace follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Wallace pushes Tanlagu away with a front kick. Wallace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tanlagu defends it nicely. A head kick from Wallace lands but Tanlagu takes it in his stride. Tanlagu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wallace. Wallace wants to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but William Wallace will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Wallace fails to land the takedown. As Wallace looks to move away, Tanlagu throws a big counter combo but Wallace just gets out of the way. Wallace looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tanlagu misses with a jab, cross combination.

He's got his arms around Tanlagu's waist but Tanlagu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wallace off to one side. Wallace dives in and grabs Tanlagu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tanlagu pushes down on Wallace's head and hops out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wallace closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Tanlagu's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tanlagu looking for a sweep. Not yet Tanlagu, not yet. Tanlagu looking for a guillotine here but Wallace defends easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tanlagu is on top in guard.
Tanlagu stopping the sweep attempt from Wallace. Tanlagu wants to get up but he can't break Wallace's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wallace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tanlagu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Wallace is tightening it up a little... Tanlagu has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tanlagu reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tanlagu taps out! Nice BJJ there by Wallace!

Our winner, William Wallace, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
