Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chester Barcelona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by Kevin Rudolf - In the City. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 41 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chester Barcelona! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Barcelona counters with a three punch combo that has Harris backing up. Harris nods at Barcelona to acknowledge the strikes. Barcelona shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Barcelona showed some decent athleticism there. Barcelona has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Harris works to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barcelona throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Harris preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Barcelona wants to pass the guard but Harris is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Barcelona. Barcelona wants to pass the guard but Harris is keeping the position. Barcelona trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barcelona looking to sit in guard and control but Harris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Harris landing with the ground and pound. Harris trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Harris won't allow Barcelona to sweep him here. Harris being controlled here momentarily. Barcelona lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Harris trying to keep a closed guard but Barcelona is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barcelona won't allow Harris to sweep him here. Harris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. My spies in Animal House inform me that Barcelona has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Barcelona is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Harris is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Harris has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Harris working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Harris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Barcelona holds on and takes a little breather. Barcelona manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harris manages to get himself to full guard.
Barcelona postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barcelona tries to free his leg and advance position but Harris is retaining full guard. Harris is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Barcelona pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harris is keeping the position for now. Barcelona must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Barcelona is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Harris is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Harris has escaped and now he's on top! Barcelona is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Barcelona is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Harris presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Harris drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barcelona breaks the clinch.
Barcelona closes the distance and clinches. Nice body punch from Barcelona - that landed with a thud.
Harris has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Barcelona is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Harris is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Barcelona gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Harris.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Barcelona escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barcelona closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Harris did well to prevent Barcelona getting side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chester Barcelona dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Harris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barcelona's waist but Barcelona gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harris off to one side. Harris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Barcelona counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Harris! Harris is looking for a sweep. Barcelona is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Barcelona passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Harris! Barcelona lands a big elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barcelona scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Harris?
It looks like Frank Harris has been cut. Barcelona cracks Harris with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Frank Harris's cut is getting worse. Barcelona stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barcelona closes the distance and clinches. Barcelona breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Barcelona!
Jeez, Frank Harris's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Harris gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Barcelona sitting in guard, not really doing much. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barcelona's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barcelona working a defensive guard here.
Barcelona has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Harris off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harris fails with the takedown and Barcelona counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Barcelona. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harris is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Barcelona gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Harris changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Barcelona fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Barcelona stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet. Barcelona clinches with his opponent.
Barcelona has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Barcelona pulls guard. Barcelona is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Harris is aware though and is defending well. Barcelona throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Barcelona working for a triangle but Harris defends it easily.

Barcelona is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Harris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barcelona swivels though and keeps the full guard. Barcelona utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Barcelona manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Barcelona escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barcelona moves into the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Barcelona.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Harris's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chester Barcelona!
