Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yngve Stolt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paolo Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stolt comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick murphys - Johnny i hardly knew ya. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yngve Stolt!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paolo Guerrero!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Guerrero. That snapped Stolt's head back.
Guerrero takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Guerrero misses with a straight right.
A punch combination from Guerrero misses.
Guerrero throws a right hand that misses
and Stolt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Guerrero misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stolt. Guerrero does a little dance to reset his feet.
Guerrero throws a hook but Stolt avoids it easily.
Stolt misses with a jab to the body
and Guerrero cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Stolt lands a big head kick that sends Guerrero tumbling to the mat! Stolt takes a step backwards and waves Guerrero back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Guerrero is rocked!


It looks like Paolo Guerrero has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Guerrero displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stolt throws out the jab.
Guerrero is still on wobbly legs! Can Stolt finish him?
A right-left combo lands from Guerrero.
Guerrero seems to have recovered his senses.
Stolt looks to land a right hand but Guerrero moved out of range.

Stolt feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Guerrero sprawling to the canvas! Guerrero rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stolt finish him?!

Guerrero misses the shot to the body.
Stolt lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A telegraphed right hand from Stolt misses the target.
Stolt moves out of range as Guerrero strikes.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stolt.

Stolt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Guerrero.

It looks like Stolt has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stolt is looking to land body kicks.

and Stolt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stolt lands a slapping body shot.

Guerrero pushes Stolt up against the cage in a clinch.
Stolt lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Guerrero tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Stolt manages to break the clinch.
Stolt throws a good cross that connects.
Stolt misses with an uppercut. Guerrero saw that one coming.
It seemed like Guerrero was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Guerrero scores with a decent looking hook.
Stolt dodges the punch combination from Guerrero.
Guerrero uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stolt.

Guerrero swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stolt.
Stolt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Guerrero.
Guerrero lands a jab to the head.
A big left from Guerrero misses.
Stolt catches Guerrero with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Stolt throws out a leg kick but Guerrero moves out of range and Stolt only half commits.
Stolt throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Guerrero to counter with a crisp jab.
A cross from Stolt lands.
Guerrero avoids the head kick by Stolt.
Stolt misses with a left hand
and Guerrero counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Guerrero scores with a shot to the body.
Guerrero might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stolt keeps the fight on the outside.
Stolt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Stolt feints and then cracks Guerrero's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Guerrero down.
Stolt throws a body shot but no joy.
Guerrero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stolt moves away.
Stolt uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Guerrero has time to react.
Stolt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Guerrero throws an off balance right hand
and Stolt counters with a nice body shot.
Stolt throws an overhand right that lands on Guerrero's shoulder, as Guerrero tries to avoid the shot.
Guerrero is looking for the big counter here.
Stolt stuns Guerrero with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Guerrero misses with a left hand
and Stolt counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Guerrero looks to score with a jab to the body but Stolt is just out of range.

Guerrero slips under a jab.
Guerrero is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Stolt with a body shot.
Stolt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Paolo Guerrero's cut.
That's time! Stolt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Stolt counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Stolt on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

An inside leg kick from Stolt misses.
Guerrero buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Stolt. Guerrero shrugs it off though.
Yngve Stolt is winning the standup battle so far.
Stolt lands an overhand right.
Stolt drops Guerrero with a huge uppercut! Guerrero drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Stolt is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yngve Stolt!
