The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Leon closes the distance and pushes Clay back into the cage.
Clay really is a fat lump.
Clay wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
De Leon lands a right hand that snaps the head of Clay backwards.
De Leon lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
De Leon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Clay backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, De Leon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Hoyt Clay has been cut.
Clay has had enough of the clinch but De Leon keeps him there for the moment.
Clay is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
De Leon prevents Clay from breaking the clinch.
De Leon lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Clay to his knees! De Leon keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
