Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Granville Dudley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Schade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Granville Dudley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bill Schade! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schade tries to clinch up. Dudley avoids the head kick by Schade.
Schade tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Dudley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Schade thinking. Dudley gets caught napping as Schade dives in and scores a takedown. Dudley manages to retain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schade postures up.
Dudley is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schade stopping the sweep attempt from Dudley. Schade throws a big elbow that misses. Dudley is controlling Schade's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schade slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Schade throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Schade passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dudley tries to improve position but can't. Schade stands up. A nice inside leg kick there by Schade. That's going to slow Dudley down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schade decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dudley tries to roll over but Schade keeps him under control. Dudley is trying is best to control the position here. Dudley is looking to improve his position.
Dudley is working hard here to advance position. Schade is working for a submission of some sort.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Schade controlling the pace. Dudley is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Schade jumps into side control! Schade creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dudley sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Schade decides to stand back up. Schade steps back and let's Dudley get back to his feet. Schade shoots in and bounces Dudley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dudley keeping full guard, as Schade tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schade drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dudley dives on top into guard. Schade controlling the position. Dudley is looking to work some ground and pound but Schade has wrist control. Schade utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Schade is trying to control the position but Dudley postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dudley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Schade's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schade is pulling down on Dudley's head to control his posture. Schade is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Schade has momentary wrist control but Dudley slips an elbow through the middle. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dudley in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Schade looking for a sweep. Not yet Schade, not yet. Dudley wants to control from the top but Schade keeps moving. Dudley missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Schade is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Schade scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schade is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dudley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Dudley tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Schade presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schade has hold of Dudley's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dudley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Schade prevents Dudley from getting the reversal. Schade is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dudley has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Schade looking to control and managing it successfully. Schade can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dudley is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Schade avoids the attempt from Dudley to control. Schade prevents Dudley from getting the reversal. Schade is in the full mount, landing strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Schade controlling from mount. Dudley wants to control but Schade is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bill Schade showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Dudley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Schade stacks Dudley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Schade! Schade controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dudley is looking for a sweep. Schade decides to stand back up. Schade steps back and let's Dudley get back to his feet. Schade feints and as Dudley raises his hands in defense, Schade changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Schade tries to stand but Dudley is controlling from the bottom. Schade scoring with punches to the head and body. Schade controlling from the top position. Schade throwing strikes from guard but Dudley blocks nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schade makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Dudley wants to sweep but no luck. Schade wants to control from the top but Dudley keeps moving. Schade stands up from guard. Let's bang! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Schade lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Schade swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Schade, right into the meat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schade gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Schade prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dudley is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Dudley pulls guard successfully.
Bill Schade has got the better of the ground game so far. Schade trying to control but Dudley is working from the bottom. Schade stands up from Dudley's guard - Schade perhaps looking for a knockout. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schade connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Dudley to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Schade!
