Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carter Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silfa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silfa has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Mann.
And Silfa responds with a good body kick, but Mann manages to step out the way in time.
Silfa looks winded!
Mann closes the distance and pushes Silfa back into the cage.
Mann's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mann feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Silfa is working an open guard so Mann takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mann moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Mann shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Silfa eats them both and turns towards Mann to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Silfa checks a leg kick nicely.
Silfa drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mann defends it well.
Silfa has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mann.
Silfa is trying desperately to land a takedown but Mann is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Silfa.

Mann scores with a one two! Silfa had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Silfa throws a series of punches but Mann moves out of range.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silfa jumps guard but Mann stands there with Silfa around his waist. Silfa gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Carter Mann is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Silfa has a takedown stuffed.
Anderson Silfa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Mann is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silfa can do to turn this around?
